Welcome to The Gel Studio where we can make all your nail dreams come true! I'm Louise. Founder, Owner and Nail Technician at The Gel Studio. I am 25 and a fully qualified nail technician in all things gel.

I started in the industry back in 2019 and put 100% of my time and effort into learning all about nails with the idea of helping myself grow my natural nails. I have always bitten my nails to an inch of their life, half anxiety and half habit, and I am proud to say I have now also helped many others kick their habit as well as my own

.

My business started out as 'Nails by Louise G' and I was a mobile technician for a few months before deciding to relocate to the beautiful seaside town of Lee-on-the-Solent in February 2020 with my family. This was a huge move and this meant that I had to start up my business from scratch again, unfortunately just as the pandemic was hitting us here in the UK. I officially opened the doors at my parents home to my little summerhouse studio in July 2020 after deciding I didn't want to be mobile anymore for many reasons and I very quickly was working full time with all my lovely clients returning to me over an over again. Fast forward to the end of 2022, I am now in my own studio and have a lovely group of self employed individuals working along side me.

I decided very early on in my career that I wanted to teach as there is a lack of good education in the beauty industry with most courses having the minimum and anyone is able to pass. In late July 2023,  I finally launched my own courses which are ABT accredited and I am working with some amazing companies to provide the best tools and equipment.
